"Ndashoboye" - Billy Mbonyingingo

Billy Mbonyingingo makes professional short films that show people from Burundi with their personal stories and dreams. With his film project "NDASHOBOYE" - "I am able", Billy introduces various people and organisations who are working creatively to strengthen the local community in Burundi and empower others to develop their potential. As a filmmaker, his aim is to show the hidden potential of people from his country and to counter negative headlines. In this way, he wants to change people's perspectives on Burundi, both at home and abroad. Heartbeats has been supporting the "Ndashoboye" project for several years and is delighted to be able to share experiences with Billy.
